My Students
PGES is located in rural North Carolina. Placed in a high-needs area, this is a Title I school.
For my students, PGE is a safe and supportive place to learn, grow, and thrive! Our classroom is a warm and welcoming environment, where students support one another and are eager to grow.
My Project
I am very excited to start my first year of teaching. I will be teaching 1st grade at PGES, a Title I school. One of my goals for this year is to build my classroom library.
I want to give my students access to a robust classroom library with a wide variety of books that will appeal to my students' varying interests and reading levels.
Having these books in my classroom will be extremely helpful in my literacy instruction. It is my hope that having access to these books will help create a love of reading for my students.
