My Students

The students in my class are diligent in their learning. We are in a community of students who come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. It is most important for me to provide them with as many learning opportunities as possible.

I am always incorporating new ways of learning to meet the needs of every student in my classroom.

My students are looking forward to learning about real world events taking place in other parts of the country and world.

My Project

These books will make a difference in my student's learning by giving them an opportunity to follow along while I read in class. Sticky notes will be used to flag important details, and questions we may have while reading. We will use the book Wonder to cover necessary reading skills, all while reading something of high interest to 5th graders!

My goal is to instill the rule of kindness in all of my students and have them pass their kindness on to others.

When students have their own copy of a book to use in class, they learn the love of reading and how to continue loving to read beyond 5th grade.
