Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 26 - 5th grade students, who are stimulated intellectually by exposing their knowledge, opinions and views on a variety of topics and subjects. These students have developed a love of learning and enjoy creating projects and doing research to further enhance what they have learned.
My students are fantastic learners, who are curious and full of questions about their subjects.
As fifth graders, the curriculum calls for hands-on experiments and projects, which the children love to do. Throughout the year, I watched these children perform their tasks with a sense of wonder and enthusiasm.
My Project
The products that I have selected will assist my students with making projects that will visually support their learning. My students will be able to create diagrams, foldables, and art projects for every subject. Using the construction paper, glue sticks and markers will enhance any project they design.
My students love to produce colorful artwork which they will be able to observe a classroom art gallery activity.
Small artwork will be used in their journals as interactive notes. The larger projects will be displayed on bulletin boards for our school community to admire and inspire them to create their own works of art.
