Help me give my students books to select during their reading period within the classroom.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach in a Title I School in a highly poverty-stricken area of New York. The students, predominantly Hispanic and Black, are burdened with more responsibilities than can be imagined, yet they come to school each day and try to learn the lessons in front of them. The students' and their parents' lives are plagued with harsh realities of life and poverty, and many times the task of putting food on the table has to take precedence over school. This hardship can cause a lack of focus and create a stressor that makes it nearly impossible to harness the students' abilities.
Many of my students are reading at a higher level this year, however, the classroom library does not have books to cater to their needs. When students do not have materials to nourish their minds, they regress. Each of the series that I am asking for are high interest reads with a higher level vocabulary. This will encourage the students to read more and strengthen their comprehension skills. Each day, students will select the books they want to focus on and hopefully continue reading the entire series. These books, the Amulet series and Magic tree House series, will challenge the higher level readers and promote their growth in reading.
