Help me give my students the chance to show their excitement with a variety of science and math activities. The STEAM Lab will offer the a wide variety of science activities, which they absolutely love!
My school's last day of in-person teaching was Friday, March 13th. The following Tuesday we began our journey into the Distance Learning. My students for this year and the upcoming summer school have been striving to keep up with the academic expectations.
Despite all the obstacles that they have encountered, my students remain enthusiastic in their desire to learn; so let's keep on learning!
My students are using school iPads when they have access to the internet and through packets that they have to pick up at the school every two weeks. This has limited so of the learning that would typically happen in the last quarter of school. As their teacher, I want to give them every opportunity to meet and master the grade level expectations.
My students have been working using Google Classroom and Meets to stay current with classwork. The items that I have asked for will allow me to vary the content to help keep them engaged in their learning. Some of them are struggling to remain positive and miss everything about traditional school.
These resilient kids continue to amaze me in their desire to learn even when everything is so different.
The science and math activities will have a positive effect of helping to bridge the gaps that may have happened since our school closure.
I will use the supplies by creating packets for students to work on or add them to the Google Classroom. When we return, I will add them into the rotations of our much missed classroom.
