My students are awesome. They deserve all the resources to help them achieve success. My students attend a Title I school that is considered high poverty. We have almost 50% of our students receiving free or reduced price breakfast and lunch each day. We even have a weekend food program.
My students are working extremely hard to be successful with the Common Core curriculum, and I want to get them all the resources to achieve this.

My Project
Some years ago I got rid of my projector and replaced it with a TV. This TV was great for a clearer picture. However, my students are having trouble seeing the screen and I need a larger sized TV for our room. I also need a mounting unit and cables for the new TV. We use our TV for many tasks throughout the day. We use it to watch instructional videos, show and tell, experiments, writing, math, and much more. This larger TV would allow my students to get a bigger picture of what's going on under my Elmo while I'm doing the various tasks. I know I'll get less comments about not seeing what I'm doing or what's happening in the video if I have a larger screen. I know this will be a valuable tool for my students while I'm teaching.
