My Project

Pickleball is a physical activity that will enhance our students in the field of physical and mental health. It promotes movement, eye hand coordination, and stress relief, to name a few. Pickleball is also a social and community activity that will promote engagement with others. It will foster resilience, cooperation and empathy. The sport is also an all inclusive activity that can be adapted to meet the needs of all ability levels. Over time this activity can be expanded beyond the school day to create a safe and active environment for our students and even staff members.

My goal is to offer this to all grade levels throughout the school year and to expand beyond the school day for students and staff creating a life long activity for them.
