My Students

What makes my students special? That's an easy one. My students come from all walks of life and every day they are ready to learn.

I work in a public, inner city school, with little funding.

Our school is a Title I school with a good amount of students being on free or reduced-price lunch. We count on the generous donations from programs like this one to help us compete with the other schools in the state. The students who step foot into my classroom are ready to learn and make a difference in the world.

My Project

I am looking for headphones for my students to use while working on the classroom Chromebooks. Everyday my students are required to spend 45 minutes on the iReady program. The iReady program helps students work at their own pace in both reading and math.

Headphones are needed but many of my students don't have the means to purchase them.

The school does supply some, but most of them have broke already due to poor quality. Due to the lack of headphones it can become very noisy during their work time on iReady. The noise can distract the students in the classroom. Please consider donating to this great cause. Thank you
