Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I am a K-8 grade Spanish teacher and I teach about 400 students. My school does not have a set Spanish curriculum although most of my older students have had about 5 years of Spanish. My upper-elementary students are constantly asking me what this word or that word is in Spanish. As much as I love their enthusiasm for wanting to know words I feel that I am somehow cheating them by just telling them. I would like a class set of dictionaries that my students could use during class and check out from the library. I would 45 Spanish/English Dictionaries. 30 of the dictionaries would be a moving set while 15 would remain in the school's library for the students to check out. Por Favor, help my students help themselves to learning all the words they want to know.
