I teach a number of fabulous 1st graders at Ryan, OK. My students come to me with a wide-range of skills and abilities. They are typically eager to learn and enjoy working together to complete learning goals. Family members are very cooperative and helpful and do all they can to promote learning at home.
My students have a wide variety of skills and talents.
My primary goal is to instill a life-long love of learning in each child. To do this, I need a variety of fun and creative materials in my classroom that will entice students to learn.
Having this requested AVerVision document camera will help me peak student interest. First graders are all about technology and are much more curious if new information is presented in a technological manner, rather than a teacher lecturing to them. When I am teaching reading and new phonics skills, it is essential that each student is focused and giving one hundred percent of their attention to me.
The document camera will help capture student interest by adding intrigue into the learning method.
I have acquired an abundance of new, high-interest learning activities that cannot be displayed to the whole class without having access to a document camera.
I plan to use the document camera in all areas of study; especially phonics, reading, and mathematics.
