Ms. Thomas from Trenton NJ is requesting reading nooks, desks & storage through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need a portable bluetooth speaker, At-Your-Seat storage sacks, and self-adhesive nameplate sleeves.

My third graders are fascinated, fun-filled, energized learners. Unfortunately, many of them are economically disadvantaged. These students live in an urban area and do not have access to the same resources as students from many surrounding districts.
Despite their circumstances, they come to school each day with a sincere attitude about their education.
Learning new things becomes an important part of their daily routine. Please lend a hand in getting the things they need to help them achieve academic success and become lifelong learners.
My students are taught in a unique learning environment. Due to the lack of air conditioning in our building, I often teach with the windows open and fans running.
Whether it's the sirens from emergency vehicles, loud music from cars playing, people conversing nearby our building, or the fans blowing in the classroom, my students have a tough time hearing what's going on.
I can only imagine how much more my students would learn if they could hear the lessons being taught.
We need your help. Not only with a new speaker, but also with materials to keep the desks organized. The seat sacks would be a great way to give everything in my students desk a place to go so they know where to easily find their things. By obtaining the name tag sleeves, my students would be able to use their name tags as resources for the entire school year!
