My Project

My leadership class decided to focus on recycling pop cans on our campus. We decided to "practice" our recycling by decorating cardboard boxes and marking "Cans Only" on the boxes. We also announced what we were doing to the other classes on campus.

For the first few weeks of the school year, this seemed to work alright, but then we noticed that our pop can recycling boxes were getting filled with trash, moved, and generally were not being taken seriously.

We decided that we needed some "real" recycling bins that looked that recycling bins in order to be taken seriously.
