The students of today are constantly being inundated with new and exciting technology, but many of today's schools can't keep up with how quickly that technology changes.
Our small school epitomizes the ever-changing world around us.
The students in our class represent a wide variety of abilities, talents and strengths. Their thirst for knowledge is unquenchable and, regardless of what they leave behind each morning, they come to school with a genuine love of learning! Their endless creativity continues to amaze me and I strive each day to find more ways for them to show me just how much they really know.
My Project
My students need a Snowball Ice USB Microphone, a Handheld Microphone, and a Jam Wireless Portable Speaker to show and share their learning in new and innovative ways. Our class recently acquired 3 iPads and we are all very excited to begin using them. The speaker and microphones that we are requesting will allow the students to record and edit their own work to share with classmates and family. They will also allow me to record lessons in school that the students can access and review at home and assess students' fluency by recording their voices. The students will benefit immensely from being able to hear their own voices and adjust accordingly.
This request will greatly improve our ability to creatively share our learning.
Students learn in so many different ways and these materials will open up a new world for so many of our classmates in a new and exciting way. Thank you so much for your consideration!
