Help me give my students the ability to have their music heard. Wireless microphone systems will help to showcase our talented musicians by allowing them to play solos from anywhere on the field.
My band students are some of the most dedicated, hard working students in the school. Our marching band begins practice the week after school gets out in June and before summer is over will have put in over 170 hours of practice in before the first day of school. We begin competition and football shows in September. Many Saturdays of the competition season will begin at 8:00AM and not end until midnight. You will never hear a complaint as these kids leave everything they have on the field every single time they perform.
Hard work, dedication and long hours are not exclusive to just the Marching Band.
The Indoor Percussion group works just as hard all winter to prepare for their competition season. They put in 10 hour days on Saturdays either practicing or competing. These students will practice in their free time, before and after school, and will often be found helping each other learn parts and encouraging each other to make it a little better each time.
Our Jazz and Symphonic bands have won several distinguished awards and perform several times a year. To say my students are well accomplished and talented would be an understatement.
My Project
These wireless systems will allow our band members to compete with other bands at the highest level. Being able to utilize some of the latest technology to showcase our talented musicians will not only enhance our performance quality but will give our musicians the confidence needed to compete with other high quality bands.
Our goal is to create the most dynamic and entertaining show for our audience.
Our current equipment only allows soloists to stand on the sidelines for their performance. With this wireless system, our soloists can be on the move and entertain as we showcase their talent. Having all of our musicians on the field and moving will help us to play more difficult music with more difficult drill.
