My Students

I would like a class set of headphones that could be used year after year with my classes. Students normally bring in cheap earbuds, which end up breaking, or they do not bring any at all. We have 1-1 Chromebooks and assign projects, WebQuests, assessments, and interactive videos out to students using Google Classroom. It gets quite noisy when very few students have earbuds or headphones.

Students need headphones to fully embrace the academic rigor with full concentration!

Often students get distracted from the noise coming from the students' Chromebooks that do not have headphones connected.

My Project

I am trying to get a class set of headphones so that students can be more independent when completing a WebQuest, Google Classroom lesson, coding, or viewing videos. Often assignments are differentiated based on learning style and strengths. This means that all students are not listening to the same thing at the same time. This can create a very noisy learning environment because many students can not bring in headphones from home to use. At the end of the year, students will be taking the standardized academic state assessment.

Students need headphones so they can focus on the academic assignment that they are presented with either from me or from the state.
