This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students make me happy to come to work every day. They are funny, diligent, and kind. They enjoy reading and writing, but really succeed in History - their favorite subject!

They are a small group that have truly developed a family bond.

I love seeing them support and root for each other. They have a great sense of humor and are always willing to work hard with what they have. I want to provide them with the best learning materials so that they have the ultimate opportunity to succeed.

My Project

While our school does provide students with earphones, they are often defective and are easily broken. Students are having to replace them frequently. We mainly use earphones during our English Language Arts class; students are listening to stories, watching videos, or recording responses.

If this project is funded, my students would get the opportunity to use quality earphones for their online assignments.

This would support my student's learning by making the listening assignments readily accessible. The stress of having defective earphones would no longer be a factor in their success, or lackthereof. Helps us by providing us with the learning materials that we need.
