This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are between the ages of 5 and 6 years of age. They are just starting their school experience and they all come to school with tremendous enthusiasm and a great love of learning.

I want to support my Kindergarteners whom have many learning modalities, in different ways!

I'd like to utilize a headset and speaking device to provide listening options for students who are in different locations of my room during direct teaching and small group instruction time.

My Project

I will use this wireless microphone/portable amplifier to assist in projecting my voice to the students within my classroom. Students will be able to hear and understand my articulated directions with this added support in small group and direct learning instruction. Using an amplifier will not only support my students who are caught up in learning conversations or playing and cannot hear my important words. Projecting my voice amidst my students and their excited voices can take its toll on my energy and vocal chords day after day, having this device will alleviate the energy loss and voice challenges while supporting all students.
