My Students

We are located in Arkansas in a low socioeconomic setting. My students are hungry and eager to learn. Our school is very supportive of giving students all possible! My students come from homes that may or may not have electricity, water, and other basic living needs. Our parents want the best for their children but often cannot provide the basic, much less anything extra for school. My students want and need to learn to become productive members of society. YOU CAN HELP!

My Project

My students need headphones to use with the chromebooks. We have all sorts of educational programs that are excellent- but they all have sound. We have headphones on our school supply list but if I had a classroom set of headphones that would be one less things parents have to purchase at the beginning of the school year.

Headphones will allow ALL students to learn on an equal playing field!

Students who have struggles in reading will greatly benefit from the use of headphones. They can have the text read to them. Many students use headphones to block out noises from the classroom that are distracting as well.
