My students need a new sound board because they perform in different areas and venues. Some places they perform they need to have more microphones so they can get a better sound and be heard better.
This project expired on May 23, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My young students love to sing and dance. However, these young performers don't always get a chance to show off their incredible talent. Our music department has really improved over the years and have many chances to perform. However, they are in need of a bigger sound board due to the variety of locations they perform in. Sometimes the location requires more microphones and sound equipment so the students can be heard during their performance.
These students love to sing and dance but come from low income families so they are unable to do fundraising for their classroom materials.
As an educator, I love to give students many different opportunities to perform. Also, these students perform for their school, friends, family and community.
This new mixer or sound board will give the students the ability to perform in larger areas or venues. Currently, students perform in many different places. However, sometimes they must decline a performance because it is in too large a room and their sound equipment isn't large enough to accommodate their need in that particular situation. With the new mixer or sound board, students would be able to perform just about anywhere they are asked to perform.
The students are very excited at the possibilities and opportunities this new sound board can give them, not just for this year, but many years to come.
