Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project is to fund a class set of headphones. The wear and tear of daily use has taken its toll on my set of classroom headphones. The students currently need headphones daily as it is work station for reading and math intervention. The students also take state tests and assessments on the computer and need their own headphones. However, I currently have more students than working headphones. This means that we have to use the school headphones, that do not fit the lower grade students.

A class set will provide every student with their own headphones.

As the next round of testing is quickly arriving, I am hoping to restock the class set before then.

Since hearing is a vital part of their time on the computers a class set that will fit them comfortably, is essential for their daily requirements. I am sure it will have a big impact on our day to day like, going from ninee currently working headphones to one per student.
