My Students

We are a Title 1 school in Southwest Dallas County. Our students range from 3 years old to 4th grade. More than half of our students are on free lunch. We have a large population of second language learners and special education as well.

No matter their background, they love learning and seeking answers to their questions.

They come to school each day ready to conquer their challenges and grow in their learning.

Hands-on activities are a must. That's where the learning really happens!

My Project

The resource room is not only a place where students come to get one to one lessons and help with work but it's also a place where students can come to work in a quiet environment.

Sensory breaks help them be at their best behaviorally so they can be at their best academically.

Headphones will allow iPad noise to stay with the students working independently on academics. The kinetic sand and mazes will be great additions to our sensory area and of course we need bookcases and tubs to house these activities. thank you for supporting the resource room!
