My Students

My students are an amazing group of kids. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a kindergarten through eighth grade school located in rural California. It serves 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.

Our school has a strong academic and athletic culture.

I want to maintain our strength in these areas by continuing to provide materials to enrich my students' experiences.

My Project

My students have been back in forth at school since the beginning of the school year. Currently, I have students who are learning at home and they need to access the internet to complete their lessons. All my students have a Chromebook that they take home when they are learning at home. My students now need headphones to help them listen to the online lessons and to keep external noise from distracting them.

My students use online websites to help them with extending their lessons.

Some of the websites use videos to teach lessons. With all the external noise in their environment, students need to have a good tool, the headphones, to help keep them focused and learning.
