Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our kiddos are eager and more excited to learn than ever before. Right now they desperately need the opportunity to continue to learn and be taught by their teachers without distractions. Many are from low-income households and struggle with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our students are bright, kind, and enthusiastic about EVERYTHING!

My Project

My school sets high expectations for every student and goes the extra mile to make sure every student realizes their own potential. Personalized learning, critical thinking skills, and mastery of core subjects is our recipe for success. They need the supplies, technology, and hardware to do that. The teaching and learning world is ever changing in this day and age. With new technological advancements appearing every year, schools must keep up with the times to remain practical in order to properly prepare their students.

This is a whole new world that students have to adapt to, so we would like to be able to give these children an unhindered learning experience by providing them with the tools that they need.

At my school, students are in need of headphones! These headphones will do a world of good for these kids. In the classroom right now, with the implementation of hybrid learning, our kids regularly work on laptops. With so many laptops in one room, the class experiences distracting feedback in the form of echoes and screeches from the device. With the help of headphones, this problem would be eliminated!
