My Students

My students are eager learners! They have a desire to learn in a variety of ways. As a teacher in a Title I school. My students are faced with several challenges in and out of the classroom. I am looking to provide my students with fun and meaningful learning experiences. My students love to move around and work in groups. Many of them are being raised in single-parent households and as a school, all students receive free breakfast and lunch. The challenges they face may not provide them with the experiences many of us think of as "typical." By providing meaningful and fun experiences at school I am hopeful that students in my class will achieve academic excellence.

My Project

The Qball wireless microphone is a microphone that is a ball and can be tossed around a classroom so students can be heard clearly. This cool piece of technology will provide my students with the opportunity to have a voice in my classroom and become more engaged in their learning. The Qball will be a great learning tool to be added to our classroom because it will allow my students to speak loudly and clearly. In addition, this will be a great tool because it will be fun for students to toss the ball around when answering in whole and small group lessons.

The Qball throwable mic will encourage students and engage them during class discussions.

Using the Qball in the classroom setting is an innovative tool to engage students. Students will improve and share their understanding of concepts taught by the generous donors to our project!
