I have the joy of teaching all the gifted and talented students on our campus in (mostly) sunny North Texas! My students include grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Creativity and critical thinking are an ongoing adventure for my students as they work to complete research, or when diving into other projects that challenge their thinking.
My gifted students welcome and look forward to the challenging atmosphere when they enter the classroom!
It's a place for these gifted learners to expand their thinking, express themselves, and connect with other gifted students, which is a positive and inviting experience. These scholars are continuously setting and reaching new goals while searching for new experiences that will intrigue them with a new challenge.
My Project
Imagine trying to listen or record important information over classroom work voices, a roaring pencil sharpener, the door opening and closing or a list of other classroom noises. Well, welcome to my classroom!
Being without headphones is quite distracting for my students.
I consistently engage my students with a variety multimedia mediums. A number of classroom lessons involve students in watching videos, reading audio books or viewing slide presentations. There are also lessons that require my students to create, respond or record using a microphone. My students love creating on the computer. Creating interactive presentations, videos or podcasts increases the critical twenty-first century skills.
This set of Cyber Acoustics Headphones with Microphone will improve engagement, reduce distractions, encourage individual learning, as well as collaboration. Giving my students the opportunity to have headphones with a microphone will allow me to incorporate more learning opportunities for each student. A classroom free of classroom disruptions will help direct my students up a path to being more successful and productive as they learn.
