Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

As the inclusion teacher, I have the opportunity to teach students at various levels, academically, socially and mentally. My students are my everything. I want them to succeed and have the best educational experience possible.

My students are bright, funny, and active 1st graders.

They are eager and enthusiastic, especially when it comes to technology. The students love doing their required programs in Reading and Math. They are excited to progress through the levels, earning coins or game time while they learn. The joy on their face when they recognize a word they learned on Smarty Ants is so rewarding to me.

My Project

My students need a set of headphones with microphones in order to use and enjoy their reading and math programs to the fullest potential. On their Smarty Ants reading program, the students are to listen and repeat any words given to them and to record themselves reading so that I may hear them at a later time.

The headphones with microphones will allow my students to fully participate in all that the program is asking of them.

The headphones will cancel out any noise around them, so the students' can focus on their learning and not get easily distracted. The headphones would also work great with their Math program when they are needing the problem read to them.
