My students need headphones in order to stabalize focus on their academic programs that are on computers, laptops, and iPad. Headphones will provide privacy and limit distraction.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are students with disabilities. Many of them benefit from accommodations and the use of technology. My classroom is designed to ensure that distraction is at a minimum to keep the students on task and focused. The students benefit from an organized quiet classroom.

Technology is a target center of the room.

There is always a student in that center. In order for the center to be utilized effectively, all equipment is necessary for the students to benefit from the resources.

My Project

With headphones, my students will be able to utilize their laptops, computers, and I-Pad. The headphones will limit noise disruption. The headphones will also provide privacy for the students.

Technology is used heavily throughout the school day.

With small group instruction and differentiated instruction throughout the classroom, using technology without headphones can be difficult. Headphones will give the students the opportunity to focus without interruption.

We have computers, laptops, and I-pad. The missing link is headphones. With sterdy headphones, the technology center can work without any complications. Plus it is the students favorite center. Headphones will complete the puzzel.
