This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Today students face many social and economic struggles yet they are the happiest children you will ever meet. I teach second grade Dual Language Learners in a border community. Their desire to learn is to be commended. They deserve to have an opportunity to be prepared for jobs that may have not been invented yet. Technology will facilitate their problem solving abilities while preparing them for their future.

Today's students need to an active learning environment.

Long are the days where students should sit in rows, quietly while working independently. Thanks to donors like you we are receiving funding to implement great things in our classrooms.

My Project

My students are in need of headphone that can be used in the computer lab and in the classroom. These class set of headphones will help us when recording oral responses and when making an audio file for our digital notebook.

A class set of headphone will make our learning experience more functional.

We will use these when narrating original stories and recording them through various apps. We will be able to listen to oral stories read to us . Using these will help us improve our second language learning by using them for listening and speaking situations that are beneficial to our learning.
