My Students

My students are a mixture of all ability levels and socioeconomic statuses. We are located in a small town and our school serves over 500 students. We have a wonderful PBIS program where we reward students for positive behavior. Students know the expectations of how to behave and are very thankful for any resource that is donated to them.

My school is truly a special place to be and the students are very lucky to live in this wonderful community!

My Project

My students are on different academic levels and they all have a different way of learning. I incorporate tools such as BrainPOP and EdPuzzle to increase student engagement. I have recently learned how to create a Hyperdoc where students are given tasks they must complete independently and also collaboratively. Some of the tasks include watching BrainPOP and taking a quiz, watching a video on YouTube through EdPuzzle, and also monitoring their progress on a program called Moby Max.

It is difficult to concentrate when there are 25 computers speaking at the same time.

Through the use of headphones, it will allow students to re-listen/watch and pause at their convenience, which will help students comprehend the content successfully.
