My Students

To tell you about my students means telling you how much they deserve in this life. These children are living and growing in a Title I school where our budget has been cut and will likely be cut next year. What does that mean for us specifically? It means we need your help to provide materials for our classroom.

We are becoming Champions!

This group of children has taken on the idea that with each day of school we are one step closer to "becoming a champion!" Each student has a daily goal and is learning to hold themselves accountable for their education. It is my duty to provide materials and a comfortable space for learning to take place.

They are so excited to begin this next project and we all truly hope that you will consider joining us in donating to fund this project.

My Project

For this new project I am asking for help in purchasing a set of child-sized head phones to be used with our classroom technology and listening center. We are so fortunate to have some technology such as iPads and cassette players in our classroom but we really need headphones to maintain our focus on our own work and not distract others from their work.

We jokingly say this as the volume in our classroom can sometimes become a bit loud. With these new headphones it will allow more students to take advantage of the many reading and math resources that come with technology while maintaining their focus on their work.
