My students need sturdy headphones for our classroom iPads to share in centers.

I am so excited about this school year and enjoy having my little inquisitive, curious and full of wonder faces entering my classroom daily. My goal this year is to develop my students' love of writing by giving them access to different writing genres. I want them to fully immerse themselves in creative and informational writings, and be able to create their own book.
As the Great Nelson Mandela once stated "I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul".
With this in mind, I want my 30 first graders to feel loved, nurtured, comfortable in their own skin and give them every opportunity to take on their own learning. When entering a new grade, children are often shy, nervous, excited but also show a thirst for learning. They love to be around each other and take great pride in working together. They thrive when they challenge themselves. I feel very fortunate to work with them in a general education classroom. My school encourages the students to succeed and reach for the stars, as well as encouraging the staff to think outside the box and bring creativity to our crafts.
My students use iPads in the classroom to help them with their research. The headphones will allow them to focus when working in centers so as not to disturb the other students in the classroom.
Headphones will keep my students focused and immersed in their work thus, creating a more individualized learning experience for each of them.
With the iPads they work on phonics games and reading comprehension text, building their reading and writing skills. They also develop their math skills by practicing their math drills (addition and subtraction), as well as problem-solving strategies. Overall, the headphones will definitely contribute to their success.
