My second grade students are part of a Title I building with a diverse population. We come from all walks of life and are working hard to learn about the world around us.
I have an energetic pack of second grade learners who are always eager for new information and experiences.
My students and I are all about hands-on learning. We use a class set of iPads during independent learning times as well as during whole group experiences. Students make use of print resources and hands-on materials across all areas of study. We love having easy access to technology, printed resources, and hands-on experiences.
My Project
The students in my classroom use their iPads for learning, research, and collaboration every single day. Headphones are a necessary part of learning.
Having access to quality headphones to utilize during iPad time would benefit my students while they focus on individualized learning.
My students use iPads to work with a partner and collaborate in small groups. But these students also need to represent their learning, listen to digital resources, and focus on their own thinking individually. Many families at my school do not have the resources to purchase quality and lasting headphones for their children. The Lil' Gadgets headphones have passed the quality test for some students in my room. We are now ready for a classroom set!
