Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is special because it is filled with students who love and admire learning. They come to school eager to fill their minds with knowledge and their hearts with friendship. They love learning, but many of them don't have access to technology once they leave school to prompt 21st century skills.
Having a well rounded classroom means my students have access to all core curriculum, including technology to prompt 21st century skills.
Giving them the tools needed is important to me to support their learning towards lifelong success.

My Project
My students are eager to learn and want more and more challenges every day they are in my classroom. My students are fortunate enough to have a class set of chromebooks at their disposal everyday to extend their learning. Having headphones to match with their chromebooks will make collaboration and learning more readily available for the students.
The built in microphones will help my students who receive intervention through such programs as System 44 and Read 180 complete their minutes per day.
We will be able to add more and more listening support for students who need things read out loud to them or for students who learn best with the use of auditory scaffolds in place.
