Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom are 21st century students who gain the most knowledge and learning through hands-on activities that integrate technology. Students work daily on technology. I want my students to have the necessary tools to complete online programs and assignments in reading, writing, math and science. I want to make a difference in the world they live in.

The students I teach are in a Title 1 school and have limited access to technology devices in their homes.

75% of my students are English Language Learners.

All the students at my school receive free lunch and breakfast. Many of my students also participate in the free food backpack program.

Having different 21st century technology resources available in my classroom, will help connect my students to the world we live in and help bridge the poverty gap.

My Project

I know these materials will make a difference in our classroom. The use of online programs is a daily activity in our classroom. While some students are on technology others are doing other different activities. Having headphones will manage the volume in our classroom. It will also help students focus more. The headphones will make a difference in our classroom by giving students a necessary resource.

We will be able to use technology while other students can do the other activities without being distracted by noise coming from computers.
