My students really need a CD player with enough plugs to do a small group reading session.

I teach kindergarten (all subjects), in a low income community. My students are so young that they still see me as the one person who knows just as much as mom. The students are energetic and highly motivated to learn.

This school year we were finally blessed to get a new reading series. The problem is the old series that we had used a tape recorder to improve fluency. Times have changed but our resources have not. Our classroom is in desperate need of a CD player to listen to the CD's that came along with the reading series.

Having a CD player, in the reading listening center, will give our students the equipment needed to improve their fluency.

By donating a CD player to our classroom you will not only help us break into the millennium but help our students become proficient readers.
