My Students

My students love playing games in P.E. but many times they are unable to properly hear the instructions being given. I teach at the most economically disadvantaged school in the district and we don't have enough money in our budget.

The students at my school are the most hard working students I have encountered.

We are a Title One school with 95% of our students on free or reduced lunch. They are eager to learn new games and are always up for a challenge. Despite their hardships, they always come in with a smile on their face and put forth their best effort.

My Project

With the Caliphone with speaker and wireless microphone my students will be able to hear the cues, questions, and praise without me having to blow the whistle and stop the whole group. I will be able to play music from an iPod for warm-up, dances and best of all, Field Day! My students will learn how to display proper sportsmanship during cooperative and competitive games.

When their are 80 or more kids in the gym, it makes it difficult to get their attention.

I am having to project my voice so much it is not uncommon for me to lose my voice. When I am outside, it is even more difficult. Having this piece of equipment would help me and my students so they can hear the directions being given and also advice I can give to improve on their skills or techniques during a game and or dance.
