Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My transitional kindergarten students bring energy and joy to our classroom daily both virtually and in person. They enter the classroom bouncing and skipping, ready to embrace the day. They are bright and curious and look forward to each new classroom experience. These young cherubs are thinkers, creators, problem solvers, and collaborators. I want to bring rich experiences and tap into their insatiable appetite and natural curiosity to learn. Providing them access to collaborative and innovative hands-on and heads-on learning in an exciting and motivating way while opening doors to the magic of the school experience is essential. Even though our class meets virtually, for now, we are still a beautiful community of learners.
What better way to help build a caring community than by creating an environment of choice, empathy, and respect for one another than through a comfortable and rich learning environment with options.
I want to give them opportunities and tools that will help them as they continue to grow and learn.
My Project
Quality headphones are important to little ones to eliminate frustration.
The Kaplan Animal headphone will adjust to their heads and stay put.
We will not have to worry about losing ear pieces or foam falling off or wires being exposed.
Being able to hear the story or computer directions in a quality headphone will be a great resource. We will use the headphones for story time and our early language program.
These headphones will last the students all year whether at home or at school.
