Help me give my students headphones. My students use their laptops often throughout the day. I am asking for headphones so that they can listen to audiobooks and reading intervention programs without disturbing each other.
My students live in the city of Springfield. Many come from low-income families and do not have money for school supplies. My students are smart, outgoing, and excited to learn.
I want my students to be able to create something that will be so exciting and interesting that it causes other students to ask them about the subject knowledge.
I want to be able to watch my students explain what they have learned to other students in a way that inspires other students to learn about the same subject.
My students often use their laptops throughout the day. They have access to a few websites where they can listen to audiobooks. They also use a reading intervention program daily. They need headphones so that they can hear their own individual lessons and not be distracted by anyone else's.
Many of the headphones that they are using are two years old, and because of the amount of wear and tear; many are beginning to break.
I am hoping to be able to provide each student their own pair of headphones that they can keep in their desk so they won't have to share.
