I teach the most amazing children with special needs in a low income school in South Gate, California. Currently, 98% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. As we move towards distance learning, my students are having difficulty focusing on lessons due to all the background noise around them as well as the new technology components.
My students are creative, inquisitive, and excited about learning even though they are faced with challenges.
I want to be able to guide them through the instructional components as well as give them an opportunity to be creative and inquisitive. Having to spend so much time connected through virtual learning is challenging without much needed technology equipment.
My Project
My students will be able to focus on the learning activities without noise distractions while using their headphones. They will be able to easily maneuver through different websites and learn with me as they grow through the distance learning model using the mouse devices.
My students will be able to enjoy listening to amazing stories online and read by me.
We will be able to share creative writing stories without distractions. My students will be able to explore the many components of educational sites with the use of the mouse devices with ease.
