My Students

My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of them have experienced challenges we adults could not imagine. Our diverse classrooms bring many different cultures and languages. School is a safe and engaging place for all students with different backgrounds to come together to play, build relationships, experience, learn and grow safely. My readers come to school eager and ready to engage in their day. We work hard to meet the needs of each of these students both academically and socially.

My Project

As a librarian I am constantly asked the question: “Do you have…?” Insert any of millions of interests of our students to finish that question. Many times I have something that will get them hooked on reading. Other times I simply don’t have exactly what they are requesting.

Books in this project are those requested books and topics!

You can provide books that will be instantly checked out by someone in our reading community. Books that continue series. Nonfiction topics. Books to aid classroom research. Books that kids just have to have!
