This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our parent organization is brand new this year, and does not currently have funding from our school or district. Parents want to throw a Valentine's Dance to help raise money for the parent organization through ticket sales. To pull this off, Student Council is raising money for decorations with this project so 100% of ticket sales can go to the parent organization and ultimately back to the school community. Beginning this parent organization has been a goal of our school for the past several years, and now that it is up and running, we want to do everything in our power to equip them with the tools (and funding) they need to be successful.
