My students need Essential Toolboxs, Braille Number Panel Prop for Escape Rooms, Train Your Brain! puzzles, and other escape room items to help make helping more enjoyable.
My 8th grade math students need a new learning environment to help engage them and stay focused. I have a variety of learners in my classroom. I want them to want to come to class. As you know, most kids don't get super excited about 8th grade math.
Your donations will help my students get out of their typical setting of a classroom and allow them to enjoy math.
We have plenty of technology at their fingertips, but I want to get them more engaged to help them be better problem solvers.
My Project
I will use these items to help build six different escape rooms for our class. The students at our middle school will enjoy a unique blend of a traditional escape room and a challenging scavenger hunt. We have something different that will appeal to everyone. I have learned in several workshops how fun an escape room can be. There are several online ones that students can do, but when doing them, I found that that hands-on ones, kept me more involved. Imagine yourself in a real-life adventure game filled with mysterious puzzles and brain-teasing clues, maybe even a little math.
