Do you remember what is was like the first time you enter the class and was able to travel on time machine to a different regions, to see how beautiful is our world and how many people are involved into making musical instruments and playing music!
Can we see it?
Can we follow it? Those are two questions that all of my students asked me since the beginning of this school year. They are curious, interested in trying many new approaches in learning music of the world subject and in orchestra class. They were thrilled when I wold them that I am going to ask for a fund to get us a TV so we all can see good examples of world known instrumentalists and travel and explore music of different regions of our planet.
My Project
Unfortunately, in my class we don't have anything that I can use to show my students such an exciting video samples or use Smart Music program. And the only place that I can ask for it is here. With Smart Music my students will be able to practice, having me virtually with them all the time; assess themselves; take tests and playing/singing quizzes at home and send it to me so we can save time in class and I can teach them more and more new skills. In "Music of the World" class we will be able to SEE dances, HEAR songs and tunes, EXPLORE music instruments from different regions (which right now is available for us only on paper).
Without your help and support my students won't be able to use such a great instrumental and choral program as Smart Music and explore music of the world.
