I teach Kindergarten-5th grade art everyday. My students are very special to me. I love knowing that they are coming to my art room to unleash all the creativity their brain has been holding onto all day.
My K-5 students are so special because they are the next generation of the world and together we create a purpose for life and I believe I give them a little magical, creative time for self expression and a place learn about art history and culture, the past, present, and future of art, and how they can make a positive change in the world.
They learn how ART is EVERYWHERE and involved in many careers. I encourage my students we don't have to be professionals we just have to "Do our best, and forget the rest!"
In our art room my students find out how we may not be a core subject, but we learn how art works the brain muscle and actually greatly increases our brain power more than any other subject.

My Project
By your gracious donations if our classroom is able to get a UV Sanitizing Cabinet then my students will continue to be able to be creative like before COVID swept across the world. Due to COVID we have a no sharing supplies policy, and in a couple weeks will will result to the most basic of art crayons and pencils.
So many students lives and learning have been dampened over the last months as it is from COVID and these boys and girls deserve to advance their art skills through as much media as possible, but that's only possible if we are able to get these students a UV Sanitizer Cabinet to allow extra sanitizing protection.
With the UV sanitizer Cabinet the students will be able to increase to extra types of media like oil or chalk pastels, use of sharpies, paint brushes, stencils, etc. found in their grade level standards for different projects. Also, my older grades will be middle school/high school art skill ready when leaving my classroom this year. For many students this could make a big difference in their lives, especially if their career path is in the arts. Help students light up the magic of their art minds by using as much supplies as they possibly can to be creative!
