Help me give my students Kids Kore Wobble Chairs so they can continue to have movement while sitting at their desks. These chairs will increase motivation for sitting while helping students focus on their work.
I have an amazing class of 3rd-grade students that have been affected by the Camp Fire in Butte County. These students are all from Paradise and Magalia, many of the students cannot live in their homes because their homes are gone. Our school in Magalia is an oasis within the burned out community. The students are joyful at school, so happy to be with each other while their families are trying to rebuild their lives.
We are in need of many things to help make a learning environment special for children that have faced the traumatic wildfire event that destroyed our community.
My students are active, wiggly learners. I want to give them the best learning environment possible to help them become resilient learners.
My Project
My third graders are active learners. They wiggle and rock in their chairs which is not safe. These students are amazing survivors of the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County. The Kids Kore Wobble Chairs will be so helpful for them to stay seated at desks and yet allow them to wiggle and wobble while reading, working on math, writing, and all other subjects. The wobble cushions will be used in the library area for sitting on the floor or at reading tables.
These wonderful students are showing amazing resiliency every day that they come to school.
I am learning so much from them. When I asked them what would help them in the classroom, they asked for Wobble Chairs.
