My students need a camera in the classroom to document class projects and post to our school website.
This project expired on January 31, 2013.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
How would you like to be a parent and feel like you were part of your child's classroom experience? Having a digital camera and being able to document student progress and show completed projects on our school website would be amazing!
Our school is a K-2 school.
I have 22 1st grade students in our class who come from a variety of background experiences. They are excited for learning and all the fun that comes with 1st grade. Many do not have rich experiences with technology. School is the only place they are able to get this experience that will be valuable to them throughout their school days. I am excited for them to have this potential opportunity.
Having a camera is something that only a select few students have had interaction with, so having our own classroom camera will be a learning experience for them. We will be able to document our work and not have to borrow a camera from other teachers in the building. One of the first projects we want to do is document the process of constructing a "mini city" to show what a community looks like in the eyes of children. Thanks for choosing to give to this project!
Your donation will make a huge difference for our class.
Almost all of my students' parents work and are unable to volunteer in the classroom. So, being able to "see" what's going on through our website with the pictures our camera takes is the next best thing.
