Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love when my students shift their mindset to “I can”. As an intervention teacher at a Title 1 school and my students are far below grade level in reading, writing, and/or math. Often times, they arrive to school stressed, which makes it critical for me to have an inviting space that calms them.
This type of space will allow their minds to be open to learning from the second they arrive.
Special floor seats, soft wall hangings, and inspirational sayings will make my room feel like a learning vacation!
