Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This calming space will provide a space for scholars to mediate, reflect, and pause when there are challenges throughout their daily experiences. This will provide them with different instruments that promote calming such as chimes and sound bowls. This helps scholars align with a vibration to focus or calm themselves. Scholars can also listen to white noise and sit in a comfortable seat while on carpet.

They have an opportunity to look at different posters to help with yoga poses or socio-emotional imagery that will support their mental wellness.
