This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have an enthusiastic group of students this year, but we have a need to have a quiet and comfortable space in the classroom to read and decompress. The materials I am requesting are a comfortable carpet, bookshelves, and floor cushions. We have the perfect corner for a quiet area of the classroom and these materials would just make it happen.

A comfortable corner nook for reading and decompressing with create a safe space for my students to learn and thrive.

We will also be able to do team and group work here, and individualized lessons here.
