Help me give my students a relaxing a calming environment. I will use lavender and other oils to omit a smell that will help calm students and teachers.
My students are energetic, thoughtful, and creative children. They have a love for learning and they are super intelligent. They enjoy reading books and creating their own books. Our school is located in the heart of a beautiful river side town. The students in my class have a variety of seating and tons of fun things to do. They would benifit from a fun and relaxing area to enjoy a good book or to take a break from our busy (sometime overwhelming) days.
My Project
I will use this humidifier and essential oils to omit calming scents in the air. Smelling the odors will help the students feel calm when they are upset by things. A student brought a doll will a lavender scent pouch and having it near us help some students and some teachers feel calmer. Using other essential oils in the humidifier will add pleasant odors to our classroom. Our classroom can also be dry in the winter months, having the extra humidity from the humidifier will help add moisture to the dry room. The smells and the humidity will support my students.
